Nollywood actress Regina Daniels broke down in tears in a new video, expressing her frustration and despair over ongoing family issues. She shared a heartfelt post declaring, “I give up.”
In a video posted on her Instagram Story early Friday morning, the actress revealed that she is struggling both emotionally and mentally. “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy; I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the emotional clip.
Earlier, Daniels had celebrated her parents’ reconciliation, stating that her once-estranged parents came together solely for her happiness. “Two sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
She added that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been detained for several days. “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out, even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she stated.
In another video shared by Daniels, fellow actress Mercy Johnson can be seen searching for Sammy. Johnson is heard saying, “He’s not here,” before adding that she will continue her search elsewhere.
Amid tears, Daniels expressed her frustration and hinted at a potential return to her husband. “But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I hope for good news about my brother, only to hear something different the next day. What’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.
This emotional outburst comes just weeks after Daniels hinted at experiencing domestic violence in her marriage. On October 18, a viral video captured her in tears, surrounded by aides and family, stating, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence; it’s too much.”
