Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has been remanded in Keffi prison by a Dutse Magistrate court.

Naijaonpoint learnt that Sammy was reportedly remanded on Thursday without access to a legal representative.

Regina’s brother, Sweezy, in a post via his Instagram story, alleged that the magistrate handling the case “suddenly disappeared,” making it impossible to process Sammy’s bail.

Sweezy also questioned why Sammy was detained in the first place, claiming his brother was not allowed to contact his lawyers when he was taken into custody.

He wrote, “He is currently at Keffi prison. Dutse Magistrate has suddenly disappeared. Ned, you can pay everybody, but you cannot pay for integrity. Sammy is currently in prison.

“Everyone please help me ask Ned what is Sammy’s offense? My lawyers were on their way. I was not given any opportunity to call anyone. Judge say remain him till they can file for his bail. Bail has been filed, magistrate has disappeared. No one to sign. You sha want make he test the prison?

“Ned you can pay everybody but you can’t pay for integrity. You no fit big pass God.”

Recall that Sammy West was arrested in Lagos on Monday by the police after a report by Senator Ned Nwoko and flown from Lagos to Abuja.
