Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed her joy over the reunion of her estranged parents, describing it as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Daniels remarked that her parents, once sworn enemies, reconciled solely for her happiness. She wrote, “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?”
Daniels also shared that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention. “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she added.
She spoke fondly of her parents, calling her father “one of the biggest lawyers back in the day,” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, “a powerhouse” who would do anything for her children. “My father is a lawyer—actually one of the biggest back in the day—but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad! This is all I ever wanted,” she wrote.
Her post comes amidst public interest in her troubled marriage to politician and businessman Ned Nwoko.
