Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has made her first return to social media following her marital drama with politician husband, Ned Nwoko.
Kemi Filani reported days back that Regina had cried out over the alleged domestic violence she was experiencing in her marriage. In a viral video, the actress was seen in the midst of men as her brother defended her against thugs her husband allegedly sent to her.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted. The senator further alleged that Regina had engaged in violent behaviour at home, claiming she assaulted three domestic staff and destroyed property.
On her Instagram story, the light-skinned actress and mother of two reposted a video of herself on a private jet from one of her friends’ page. In the video, the mother of two was captured hopping on a private jet with her brother, Sammy West and friends.
Hours ago, her mother, Rita Daniels had shared a video of herself and her son dancing. The video didn’t sit well with many netizens, who took to her comment section to drag her.
Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sweezzy, had dismissed Ned’s report of drug abuse as he noted how there is no perfect couple.
Ned Nwoko’s brother, Dr Michael Nwoko, called for privacy, as he pleaded with their fans and the public to remain calm and continue to show understanding, as their issue is a family matter. He assured the public that it would be resolved privately.
