Popular Nigerian gospel singer, and songwriter, Sola Allyson, has vowed that religion will not separate her from Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji.
Naijaonpoint reports that the musician made this known during her music concert in Lagos.
Sola, who turned a new age a few days ago, hosted a music concert to express her appreciation to God.
A video circulating online shows the moment Sola invited Lateef on stage during the live concert, amid cheers and applause from the audience.
Recall that Sola faced criticisms over their joint performance with Lateef in 2022.
Unbothered about the last public outrage, Sola stated that religion cannot separate her from Lateef.
In her words, “Lateef is a creative, I am a creative, religion can’t separate us, Lateef is a child of God, I am a child of God. We see our father differently, Lateef is my brother, so you can do with that whatever you like. So Lateef is going to sing to us and sing here today and if I know the song he is singing, I am going to sing with him. And the song is going to be sweet and you will be blessed.”
Speaking to the audience, Lateef added, “Listening to BBO and Aunty Sola’s songs doesn’t make me less of a Muslim; your songs speak to me just like a Muslim song will speak to me. God is a formless entity.”
