The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu has celebrated the wife of Governor Ademola Adeleke, Titilola Adeleke, as she marks 60 years.
In a statement she personally signed on Tuesday, Remi Tinubu praised her for her commitment to uplifting people of Osun State.
She wrote: “I join your husband, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke, your children, family, friends and loved ones to celebrate you, as you mark this milestone of 60 years.
“I celebrate your commitment to uplifting the good people of Osun State through the Renewed Hope Initiative where you continue to touch many lives.
“I pray this special day is filled with joy, love and cherished moments. May you celebrate many more years in divine health, peace, joy and happiness.
“Happy 60th birthday, Your Excellency. Titilola Adeleke.”
Naijaonpoint reports that this is coming days after Mrs Tinubu had warned Governor Adeleke to stop singing.
The mild drama played out in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Sunday during the 10th coronation anniversary of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
In the video circulating online, Governor Adeleke was seen singing mid-speech to the amusement of the crowd, when Senator Tinubu approached the podium and, in a low tone, urged him to wrap up.
“I’ll give you five minutes to conclude your speech. Enough with the music, or I’ll switch off the microphone,” the First Lady was heard saying.
