Fulham have been seriously linked with Otele in recent weeks, as they look to recruit some talents before the close of the transfer market next week.
The 26-year-old Nigerian winger has been impressive at Basel. While he quick and a good dribbler, he also has a penchant for scoring goals.
Now, it appears that Fulham want to make a move. But according to transfers expert Ben Jacobs, the club want to watch how he performs for Basel in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Copenhagen today.
If they are impressed with his showing, they will likely move quickly to sign him before the transfer window closes in four days.

Philip Otele is a 26-year-old winger on the books of Basel. He can operate from either the left or the right wing, and can function as a striker.
He was born in Port Harcourt, but moved to Europe as a child. Otele played youth football in England before turning pro at Lithuanian club Kauno Zalgiris in 2019.

Since then, he has played for clubs like UTA Arad, CFR Cluj, Al Wehda, and Basel. The 5’10 has never represented Nigeria at any level, nor has he played for any Nigerian club.
