Kim Zolciak is facing mounting financial pressure just as the holidays hit.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been hit with a new six-figure tax lien, pushing her total debt to the IRS past $1.3 million, according to court records.
On Dec. 11, the Internal Revenue Service filed a lien against Kim Zolciak for unpaid taxes spanning three different years. The filing alleges she owes more than $163,000 combined for 2019, 2023 and 2024.
The lien lists Zolciak’s current residence, a six-bedroom home in Georgia valued at roughly $1.3 million.
The latest development comes amid her ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann. The estranged couple sold their sprawling marital mansion earlier this year after it was foreclosed on, accepting $2.75 million after a steep price reduction. Biermann has also been hit with a separate IRS lien totaling nearly $200,000.
The former couple already shares a larger unresolved federal tax lien from 2023, accusing them of owing more than $1.1 million in back taxes. Combined, Zolciak’s personal tax debt now totals $1,311,638.
As the financial fallout continues, the exes remain locked in a contentious divorce, with Biermann accusing Zolciak of withholding financial records. She has denied those claims.
Kim Zolciak’s money troubles hit close to home after her daughter Ariana Biermann publicly claimed her mom has a habit of borrowing cash and not paying it back.
Ariana shocked viewers during the season one premiere of Next Gen NYC when she revealed a painful truth about her childhood earnings. In a confessional, Ariana shared that she made “quite a bit of money” from brand deals at a young age but never actually received it. “Unfortunately, my parents took my money,” she said. Ariana explained she only learned the funds were gone two years ago and still has no clear answers. “Nobody was honest. There was no transparency,” she added. “I don’t even know how much money I made or where it actually went.”
“Brielle paid an electric bill here and there,” the mom of six admitted on WWHL. “I mean I was — I have to be so careful guys — I was left with nothing, so I had to figure it out fast.”
