WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is speaking out about Alexis Beador’s exit from the show after returning for just one season and is glad she won’t have to film with the woman who is engaged to her ex anymore. “I wish them well. I do,” she said on Entertainment Tonight. She continued, “I’m happy that everything happened, so we aren’t together anymore, because it wasn’t healthy. So I hope that they have a happy life,” Shannon said. The feud between Shannon and Alexis reignited during Season 18 when Alexis began dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, shortly after his breakup with Shannon.
John then maliciously sued Shannon for $75,000, claiming it was a loan, while Shannon maintained it was a gift. The lawsuit was eventually settled for $60,000. Alexis announced her exit from the show back in December. “I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock,” Alexis said on Going Rogue at the time. “It was a hard conversation. … I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out — like, I thought we had more time. [So] it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information.”
