Comedian Rickey Smiley recently revealed that he has 5 year old twin daughters. The twin girls had been being raised by an Atlanta man, who was told the girls were his – and he’s furious with how things turned out.
A year after mourning the tragic loss of his son Brandon, Rickey learned from woman that he is the biological father of identical twins who had just turned five. After confirming paternity through a blood test, Rickey shared how the discovery marked a turning point in his life.
The news came at a good tine for Rickey. The comedian was dealing with with immense grief, feeling lost and unable to cope with the void left by his son Brandon’s passing. But the unexpected news of his twin daughters brought a new sense of purpose and healing. Rickey described the moment as a divine intervention, saying it felt as though the sun began to shine again after a prolonged storm.
Unfortunately it’s not a happy ending for all. The man who was raising the girls as their father since birth is devastated. He claims that his girlfriend was the secret side piece of Rickey for the past 20 years.
He says that he was tricked into paternity and paying child support, and when his babys mom got upset with him – she revealed the truth, destroying his life.
