WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The political situation in Rivers State took a dramatic turn on Friday as Florence Nwaeke, the wife of former Head of Service George Nwaeke, made a desperate plea for help. She expressed deep concern over her husband’s safety, revealing that she had lost contact with him and feared for his life. Mrs. Nwaeke recounted her last conversation with her husband, saying he had called to confirm his arrival in Abuja. However, her relief turned to alarm when she discovered he had given an interview, the contents of which she claimed were uncharacteristic of her husband. She sent him a series of frantic messages, asking if he was under duress or had been kidnapped. “Are you under duress? Have they kidnapped you? Talk to me now. Why are you not talking to me?” she pleaded. Mrs. Nwaeke’s cry for help came hours after her husband levelled serious allegations against Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara. In a separate video, Mrs. Nwaeke appealed to Governor Fubara to intervene and help locate her husband.
