The news quickly lit up social media, with rumors circulating that the St. Petersburg native may have fired up to 14 shots at a vehicle belonging to his girlfriend, Mini Barbie. However, those claims remain unconfirmed as of press time. Rod Wave, born Rodarius Marcell Green, has been in trouble with the law several times, including back in 2022, when he was arrested on a felony battery by strangulation charge in his Florida hometown. That case was eventually dropped. In 2024, he landed himself in hot water once again in Manatee County, Florida, on suspicion of weapons possession linked to a gang-related shooting that left four people injured.
