The National Leader Igbo Bu Igbo South East Forum Chief Henry Uzozie, has been recognized for his humanitarian services and people oriented projects to humanity by the Rotary club of Asaba Citadel recently.
The award was presented to him by the 3rd President, Rotary club of Asaba, Rtn Edwards Sandra ughochi, first Female President of Rotary club of Asaba Delta State.
In her speech during the presentation, RTN Sandra Ugochi Extolling the good qualities of Igbo bu igbo South East National Leader saying that he has been a blessing to those around him adding value to lives of the masses through his humanitarian selfless services.
She further added that Rotary club Asaba will continue to identify with this activities while ensuring that lives are being lifted up through the supply of basic needs of the masses.
Rtn Edwards Sandra Ugochi, first female President of Rotary Club Asaba Delta State is the 3rd President of Rotary Asaba. She has pledged to raise the bar set by Rotary in Asaba to the next level through community development.
The award of Humanitarian services to humanity was presented to High Chief Henry uzozie, National Leader Igbo Bu Igbo South –East Forum was awarded humanitarian award at upper room Events hall besides Ulo Construction limited by NTA Road Asaba Delta State.
In his acceptance speech, Igbo Bu Igbo South-East Forum National leader, commended Rotary club of Asaba for finding him worth to receive such award. He congratulated the President of Rotary club Asaba for being the first female President of the club, saying leadership comes with lots of pressure. I have the belief that you are equal to the task that is why you were elected as president?
The National leader assured that he will continue to support the club in his own little way when called upon at any time. He also used the opportunity to explain the objectives of Igbo Bu Igbo South-East Forum to include supporting the policy of Good Governance at all levels of governance across Nigeria among others. He changed Rotary Club to always support the less privileged and the needy in the society for which the club was established viz: for the welfare of the people. He thanked them for the recognition so far.
The award presentation was witnessed by notable member of Rotary club of Asaba as well as friends and well-wishers of the awardee, High Chief Henry Uzozie.
