Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has affirmed love for her husband, Moc Madu as they celebrate their first Valentine as a couple.

Taking to her Instagram page to share a romantic video of them, she noted how it’s their first Valentine as a couple. Expressing her love for her husband, Ruby showered praises on him, calling him Oba finest, her pride, and King.

In January, Ruby shocked many when she announced her engagement to filmmaker, Moc Madu. The movie star, via her Instagram page, shared a video of her proposal as she announced that she said Yes to the love of her life. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she dedicated her engagement to Him.

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, the actress and her husband traditionally tied the knot at her hometown. In one video, Ruby was seen surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids. In another, the happy bride was captured showing off her traditional dancing steps.

The highlight of the ceremony was when she pulled off her heels to hail her husband. In the viral video, the actress went on her kneels as she praised her Odogwu husband.

After announcing her engagement, Ruby credited her Maker for her new blessings as she poured praises on her man, describing him as a God-fearing Odogwu, her world, the only man who understands her perfectly, her intentional Odogwu, and her forever baby.

In a later post, Ruby had penned an appreciation post to the public over the massive love they showed her and her husband-to-be. She stated that they have been left humbled by the love they received.

Some years back, Ruby had recalled the reasons she was single and unmarried. The single mother of one said she had once lost a relationship because of her job as an actress. She claimed her partner’s mother wasn’t comfortable with her career and had demanded she stop acting if she wanted to get married to her son, which she refused.
