WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Forget the feud between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman! The biggest feud of our day is the one between Elon Musk and Sam Altman. The latter recently spoke at The New York Times’ DealBook Summit. During his interview, he spoke about Elon Musk’s recent governmental appointment. One thing that Sam Altman said was that it’d be “un-American” for Musk to use his influence to stifle his rivals. It seems like neverending drama between Elon Musk and Sam Altman. Musk recently filed yet another lawsuit against OpenAI, the company of which Altman’s the CEO. He’s suing OpenAI because he thinks that the company isn’t living up to its vision of creating AI for everyone. In this lawsuit, he wants to stop the company from becoming a for-profit firm. At this point, we’re still waiting for more information from this case, so we’re going to need to hang tight. The 2024 U.S. presidential election saw a new set of people in charge of the country, and one of them is Elon Musk. He was appointed to the head of the Department of Governmental Efficency, named DOGE. So, Elon Musk has some sway over the government, which is scary after watching him handle Twitter (now X). In any case, people are responding to this appointment, and one of them is Sam Altman. During the interview, he said that it would be “profoundly un-American” for Musk to use his position to hurt his rival and “advantage [his] own businesses.” At this point, there’s not much making us doubt that he’d do something shady. Altman stated that people wouldn’t tolorate that, and this is true. At this point, Elon Musk has tarnished his reputation with much of the community, so when we found out about the DOGE appointment, alarm bells started to ring. Heck, the name of the organization is literally a meme! So, it’s clear that many people in the community share Altman’s fears.
