The Samsung Galaxy A56 will end up charging faster than you think. The phone appeared at the 3C authority in China, revealing its charging speed, basically. The device will end up supporting 45W wired charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 has appeared, and it will charge faster than you think

The device was spotted by 91mobiles, and it appeared under the Galaxy SM-A5660 model number. That model numbers stands for the 5G variant of the Galaxy A56, by the way.

The Samsung Galaxy A55, which launched back in March, supports 25W wired charging. The Galaxy A56 5G will be on the same level as the company’s flagships when it comes to wired charging. The Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra both support 45W wired charging.

Now, the Galaxy A56 is not expected to offer wireless charging, or reverse wireless charging, in case you’re wondering. There’s a slim chance of that, but it’s not as likely. The Galaxy A55 did not offer either.

The device will not arrive with a charger, though

This 3C listing also confirms that the Galaxy A56 will ship without a charger. That is not exactly a surprise at this point, in fact, that’s what we expected. So you’ll need to buy one if you don’t already own it.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 is rumored to ship with the Exynos 1580 processor. It could end up offering 8GB of RAM, though a 12GB RAM model is also a possibility. After all, the Galaxy A55 did come with 12GB of RAM to some markets. Android 15 will likely come pre-installed, along with Samsung’s One UI skin.

We don’t have much other information about its specs, however. We’ll just have to wait and see what will Samsung deliver. This phone is expected to arrive in Q1 2025. Chances are we’ll get more information in the near future, though so stay tuned for that.
