The family of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, has been hit with sadness following the deaths of his son and grandson.
Naijaonpoint understands Moro had lost his grandson and days later, his son also died.

In his condolence message, shared across his social media handles on Monday, Saraki prayed for God’s strength and comort for the Moro family to bear the losses.
While the details of the deaths were not revealed, Saraki described the incidents as a dark season for the Moro family.
“To lose a grandson, and then, only days later, a son, is a pain no family should ever have to bear.
“This double bereavement is a deeply difficult moment for the Senate Minority Leader, Distinguished Senator Abba Moro, his wife, and their family.
“Toyin and I extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences, and pray that the Almighty will strengthen them, comfort them, and surround them with His peace through this very dark season,” the former Kwara State Governor wrote.
According to earlier news reports, Senator Moro’s son, Victor, who had recently completed his studies in Turkey, returned to Nigeria to participate in the National Youth Service Corps programme, but sadly, he lost his life in a fatal motor accident along the Mararaba axis in Nasarawa State, barely 24 hours after the burial of his father’s grandson.
The younger Moro had reportedly travelled from his family home to attend to personal matters when the accident occurred.
