Say What You Want To Say, My Skin Is Thick – Wike Brushes Off Critics

Wike 1

‎The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stated that he does not care what people say about him.

He, however, noted that he can only be worried if President Bola Tinubu becomes dissatisfied with his performance.

The Minister spoke on Monday during the flag off of the construction of Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in Mabushi District, Abuja.

He also issued a stern warning to contractors colluding with civil servants over the award of projects in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

‎He said, “Say what you want to say, I will not. I’m not one of those you think that blackmail will change, my skin is so thick, so strong. As a politician, you should know that there are things you will see. No politician people will not say something against you, so why are you worried?

“The day I said I’m a politician, I know that I’m now up and you people will say all kinds of things so for me, say it. The only way I will be worried is if my appointor is not satisfied with what I’m doing then I will be worried.

‎”So nobody should think that I have anything against, you know, nobody. Nobody. If they are transport and i see that you are committed to improving the transport sector, I will give you support.

‎”If you’re in agriculture, I see that you’re interested in agriculture and you want to, you want to comply with the renewed Hope agenda I will give you support.”
