It’s the third major top scorer accolade of Dessers’ career, following his 2019–20 Eredivisie title with Heracles Almelo and UEFA Europa Conference League Golden Boot in 2021–22. Throughout the season, Dessers showed his sharp finishing by scoring against ten different Premiership clubs, including Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, and Dundee United.
