A seasoned medical practitioner Lucky Eghagbevwa has emerged president -elect of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU Ireland.

Eghagbevwa in his brief acceptance speech after the election, vowed to take members to a new dimension carrying all along all using transparency, honestly as pathfinders to deliver results.

He promised welfare of members during his tenure will remain paramount as he discharges his duties.

Lucky Ohwofasa Eghagbevwa is a highly accomplished individual
with a diverse educational background, extensive professional
experience, and a strong commitment to community development. His
passion for making a positive impact is evident through his various
roles and initiatives aimed at uplifting those in need. Lucky is married
to Jenice Fasa Eghagbevwa, and their marriage is blessed with
children.

Dear esteemed members of the Urhobo Progress Union Republic of
Ireland (UPUI),
I stand before you today with utmost humility and gratitude for the incredible honour you have bestowed upon me by electing me as the
President of UPUI. I am deeply humbled by your trust in my ability to lead this esteemed organisation towards a brighter future.

Before I delve into our vision for the future, I must take a moment to
acknowledge the unwavering dedication and hard work of the
outgoing executives, especially our President who has served UPU
Ireland diligently for almost a decade. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we owe them a debt of gratitude for their tireless
efforts in advancing the mission of our organisation.

“As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to assure each one
of you that the new leadership under my guidance will work selflessly for the betterment of all our members. Transparency, honesty, and open communication will be our guiding principles, and we pledge to keep you, our members, informed whenever we encounter challenges.
