WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Capt. Chris Ona Najomo as the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. Najomo’s confirmation followed the adoption of the report by the Senate Committee on Aviation during plenary. The Chairman of the committee, Sen. Buhari Abdulfatai (APC-Oyo), presented the report and stated that the committee had screened the nominee, deeming him suitable for the appointment. “This is due to his vast experience and outstanding contributions to the aviation industry,” he said. He urged the Senate to approve the committee’s recommendations for Najomo’s confirmation as the director general of the NCAA.
