Nigerian comedian cum actress, Damilola Adekola, also known as Princess, who accused Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, better known as Baba Ijesha, of rape, has slammed those criticising her after the release of her colleague from prison.
Naijaonpoint reports that the actor regained his freedom on Friday, November 14, 2025, following a decision of the Court of Appeal, which cleared him of the offences for which he was convicted.
Announcing his release, fellow actor Yomi Fabiyi said in a post on Instagram that Baba Ijesha had been “officially freed” after the appellate court overturned the earlier judgment.
In a video via her Instagram page, Princess replied to those hurling insults at her that God does not support child defilement, and they can send their daughter to Baba Ijesha for Christmas.
Princess stated that Baba Ijesha is a convicted serial paedophile and rapist with many victims, and schools, hotels, and landlords should not allow him within their premises.
The thespian also urged the Lagos State Government to publish Baba Ijesha’s name publicly as a sex offender.
He said, “I can see some people cursing me, that God will punish me after Baba Ijesha was released from prison. God doesn’t support child defilement. You all can send your daughters to him for Christmas. Baba Ijesha is a convicted serial paedophile and rapist. He had dozens of victims. I am now calling on schools, hotels and landlords not to allow him in their premises.
“His full name is Olanrewaju James Omiyinka. I am also calling on the Lagos State Government to publish his name publicly as a sex offender. He rapes both young and adult. This is how he operates, after he has ass@ulted a child somewhere, he will leave his house in the middle of the night and relocate. He has lived in Mafoluku, Oworo, Lagos Island, etc.”
