Sevilla are looking to secure their second win of the season, and they will need all their attackers to be available for action…
Nigerian attackers Chidera Ejuke and Akor Adams are expected to return to Sevilla’s lineup for their Spanish La Liga fixture against Alaves at the Estadio Mendizorrotza on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Ejuke and Adams played for Los Nervioneses in their first two games this season, but they have been out of action since the start of September due to muscle injuries.
The two Nigeria players missed the club’s last two games against Elche and Girona. Nonetheless, Sevilla picked four points from those games, as they defeated Girona at Estadio Municipal de Montilivi and picked up a draw against Elche at home.
Next up for coach Matias Almeyda and his boys is an away game against Alaves. Ahead of the fixture, the club announced their traveling squad on Friday, and Ejuke made it, alongside Adams.
Sevilla Looking To Return To Winning Ways
After their draw at home to Elche last week, Sevilla will now be looking to return to winning ways against Alaves.
El Glorioso have been tough customers for Sevilla in their last four meetings, with Alaves picking two wins and two draws.
Nonetheless, they will be looking to put up a better showing this time. And with the boost they have gotten by Ejuke and Adams’ return, Los Nervioneses can fancy their chances.
