Nigerian singer and rapper Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has urged men to stay away from relationships.

Naijaonpoint reports that the Elon Musk crooner warned that love and marriage often come with heavy financial burdens.

The artiste shared his opinion on his Twitter handle on Monday, 22nd September 2025, where he described being in a relationship as a financial trap and went further to call marriage the biggest financial mistake a man can make.

He also advised young men to live within their means, stressing that those who are not from wealthy backgrounds may struggle if they tie themselves to constant expenses linked to relationships.

In addition, Shallipopi encouraged men to embrace celibacy, saying it is a safer choice financially and personally.

He wrote: ”The biggest financial mistake, when you and your papa nor dey the Top 10 list of richest people in Africa you go cry bro. OS na financial mistake, Girlfriend na financial mistake, stay celibate”.

In other news, the Kano State Police Command has arrested two men for allegedly robbing and attempting to kill Afrobeat artiste Lil Kesh in Lagos.

Naijaonpoint reports that the incident took place on August 19, 2025, at Bera Estate, Chevron, Lagos.

During the attack, the suspects reportedly forced the singer to transfer N2,120,000 from his account.
