Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekini, better known as Itele, has opened up about his relationship with his colleague, Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin, also known as Kemity.
In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, he revealed that Kemity was his first student, and she’s a passionate, hardworking, and enduring lady. He noted how Kemity was his apprentice for 8 to 10 years.
Itele said what he values most in a person is passion, and Kemity possesses that. He noted how she believed in him and stood by him through the tough times, trusting that things would be better.
He recalled how Kemity would give him money to spray whenever he was invited to events.
“Kemi was my first student, and she’s a passionate, hardworking, and enduring lady. She was my apprentice for 8 to 10 years. What I value most in a person is passion, and Kemi possesses that. She believed in me and stood by me through the tough times, trusting that one day things would get better. Back then, whenever I was invited to occasions but didn’t have money, she would give me cash to spray because at that time, I had the name, but not the money.”
When Kemity celebrated her birthday in July, Ibrahim noted how they had been through thick and thin together and came out like champions. Itele appreciated her for standing by him when he needed her the most.
In 2023, when Kemity announced her engagement, Itele had expressed excitement at the news, describing it as a beautiful and fulfilling one for him to wrap up the year. Congratulating her, he expressed joy at how his daughter was taken.
In different news, Kemity opened up about her failed engagement, revealing that her ex wanted them to have a child together, which she refused, noting that she is at the peak of her career and earning money; hence, she couldn’t risk slowing it down. To make it worse, she and her ex share the same genotype as they’re both AS.
Also, in the interview, Kemity shared the story behind why she has two kids from different men, as she noted how people always mock her because of it. The busty actress said the father of her first child was the one who deflowered her, but he was killed in a hotel after he returned from Malaysia. She stated that she became a widow following his death.
