The Razor News while quoting a source reports that the suspects died from tetanus caused by gunshot injuries. ”They have travelled ( died). That’s all I can tell you. Moreover, this is coming after the escape of two other suspects in the case who were being led by police operatives to an accomplices’ hideout. The escape has sparked outrage, with many accusing the police of compromising the case. Meanwhile, Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu has vowed to re-arrest the fleeing suspects and reorganize the Rapid Response Squad unit to ensure accountability and transparency. Governor Soludo recently visited the Rapid Response Squad formation in Akwuzu, where CP Orutugu briefed him on efforts to re-arrest the fleeing suspects and reform the facility.
