Shyne recently shot down rumors that he received millions of dollars from Diddy to do 10 years in prison for a shooting allegedly carried out by the Bad Boy boss…but in a recent interview, he finally revealed just how much money Diddy paid him.
“He came to see me once, and I tried to spit in his face,” he told The Breakfast Club hosts in a recent interview. “I didn’t even know he was coming to see me. They just brought me down in the lawyer’s office.”
Shyne says it would be three more years before he’d see Diddy again.
“I got out in 2009. There wasn’t an attempt at reconciliation until 2012, when I went to Paris to meet him. I was still in a place of, he owes me his life. He’s a billionaire. If it wasn’t for me, he wouldn’t have been a billionaire,” he said.
He added, “If I would have cooperated with the district attorney, he’d have went to jail, and heaven knows what would have happened to his career. So that’s worth at least a couple million dollars out of the billion that you’re worth.”
Diddy has never confessed to the shooting, but the victim of the nightclub shooting back in 1999 has always claimed that the shooter that night was Diddy and not Shyne.
