Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has commended the Finland court judgment that sentenced separatist agitator, Simon Ekpa, to prison.

Naijaonpoint reports that a District Court in Finland on Monday, September 1, 2025, sentenced Ekpa to six years in prison over terrorism-related crimes.

The development sparked reactions from several stakeholders and the federal government, with some lauding the judgment following the allegation that Ekpa was responsible for the ongoing unrest in the South East.

Reacting to the court judgment in a post via his Facebook page on Tuesday, Igbokwe asserted that Ekpa will be deported to face terrorism charges in Nigeria after serving six years in a Finnish prison.

The APC chieftain also stated that, “The pains of what we lost in the SE in 10 years will go round. The findings and those involved will shock the world.”

He added, “The most Interesting part of the judgment is Simon Ekpa will be deported after serving six years in a Finnish prison to face terrorism charges in Nigeria..

“My own prayer is to see face to face and know the people that invaded the CITY OF DAVID Nnewi in October 3 2021 and set it on fire all in the name of the non existing Biafraud nonsense.”
