Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has clapped back at a fan who accused him of promoting cultism and ‘overdoing things.’

The X user identified as @vardysteveayo, who claimed to be a fan of the singer, said he was disappointed by Davido’s actions, Naijaonpoint reports.

According to him, Davido had gone too far and was now encouraging cult-related behaviour, which he believed could influence others negatively.

He expressed concern that Davido’s post was not only excessive but also sent the wrong message to his followers.

He added that some fans continued to defend the singer, even when he acted in ways that they should not support.

He simply wrote: “That one nah ur papa business”.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats star Zinoleesky has revealed that he has done a lot of “crazy” things to pursue his music career.

The singer stated that Nigerian parents are hardly ever supportive when their children choose a career in the entertainment industry, as they prefer them to go for professional courses or learn a trade.

In an interview with SB Live, Zinoleesky revealed that he ran away from home at a young age to pursue a career in music.
