Cameroonian-American singer and skincare mogul Dencia has stirred controversy online after weighing in on the alleged marital issues between actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Reacting to the reports, Dencia criticized young women who marry much older men for wealth and status, calling it a poor trade-off for their youth and freedom.
The outspoken entrepreneur questioned why “young, vibrant, and successful” women would choose men old enough to be their fathers.
She wrote: “Young fresh girl like this, career and all, you go and give your youth to old grandpa turtle-looking man… he is beating you? This could never be me.”
Dencia, best known for her bold opinions and luxury skincare brand Whitenicious, also urged women to stop glamorizing toxic relationships masked by riches. “There are many generous young men out there — your grandpa ain’t one,” she added.
Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions across social media, with some supporting her honesty and others accusing her of being insensitive.
