Controversial street-pop singer, Portable has cried out for help after arrest initiated by his babymama.
Recall that portable escaped arrest after a clash with actress Ashabi Simple, who is the mother of one of his children
It was that the incident reportedly took place on Thursday, January 1, 2026, during Ashabi’s visit to the singer’s bar in Ogun State.
A video shared online captured the tense moment between the pair.
Ashabi, who has often been described publicly as one of Portable’s baby mamas, was seen expressing anger over the label and insisting that she should also be seen as a wife.
Portable, however, maintained that he only regards his legally married wife, Bewaji, as his spouse, while every other woman in his life remains a baby mama.
This exchange led to a heated altercation, during which Portable was accused of pushing and assaulting her.
The matter later escalated when Ashabi and her siblings reported the case to the police, alleging assault and abuse.
She later shared her side of the story online, stating that she had gone to the bar after Portable invited her, but things turned sour when a disagreement broke out.
She also claimed that he seized their phones and threatened them.
Police officers reportedly went to Portable’s residence to arrest him, but he was said to have left before they arrived.
His wife, who is currently pregnant, was the one met at home by the officers.
It was gathered that portable was arrested yesterday at undisclosed location where he was hidden.
