Skai Jackson’s baby daddy, Deondre Burgin, is in hot water again after he was arrested at a gas station in Kentucky.
According to the police report, Burgin was picked up after a valid warrant was placed for his arrest for failing to appear in court in May, following his inability to renew his driving license. He was reportedly washing his car at a gas station when officers scanned his license plate and discovered that he had an active warrant out for his arrest.
Jackson welcomed a baby boy, Kassai, with Burgin, in January. Just months later, in May, Jackson filed for a restraining order alleging domestic violence.
In her filing, Jackson claimed the abuse went on for over a year and that on one occasion, Burgin allegedly grabbed her hair, slammed her head against a car window, and punched her in the face while she was holding their infant son on Mother’s Day.
Burgin was serving a 90-day jail sentence while Jackson was in the hospital giving birth to their son.
Burgin’s failure to appear in court was for failing to reinstate his driver’s license and improper placement of the license plate in Cincinnati.
