If you’re looking for PC part upgrades consider the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F motherboard, because Amazon has a deal on it right now to save a little money. The ROG Strix B550-F has a regular full retail price of $190, but you can currently pick it up for $170.

This is a PCIe Gen 4.0-ready board complete with potentially everything you could want in a motherboard. It has on-board Wi-Fi with an included antenna you can screw into the board to extend the Wi-Fi range. Which is great if your PC happens to be in a room that’s separate from where the router is located. Speaking of Wi-Fi, this board also supports Wi-Fi 6. Now this is an ATX motherboard so you’ll need to make sure you have a case that’s large enough to fit it. Chances are, though, that if you’re looking at ATX boards you likely do.

What about all the slots for compatible components? Well, it has two M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs so you can load the board up with lots of storage. It also has four slots for RAM and it even supports HDMI 2.1. There’s even some addressable RGB for those who like the lighting aspect of their PC components. You also have lots of USB-A ports, one USB-C port, an optical port, a LAN port, and in and out ports for audio like speakers or headphones.

The ROG Strix B550-F is also Windows 11-ready so if you haven’t upgraded yet due to older hardware that’s incompatible, this will allow you to move forward. All of this being said, this is also a motherboard for the AMD platform. If you’re using an Intel CPU, this motherboard is not going to be compatible with it.
