Snoop Dogg says he apologized to fellow West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar for his response to the beef between the Compton rapper and Drake.
After Drake dropped his “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Snoop reposted it, as Drizzy used A.I. vocals of Snoop and Tupac Shakur on the track to diss K.Dot.
Snoop said when he noticed ..., he just saw “Gin & Juice,” and assumed it was part of a collaboration he’d just just signed up for. Snoop says he did not pay attention the the music.
Then I get the word: ‘Nephew didn’t like what you did,’” he continued. “What did I do?! ‘You played some music.’ What music?! Then I had to go look at the [post] and I’m like, ‘Aw, that’s cuz,’” he continued.
“So then I deleted it, called [Kendrick], left him a message ’cause he ain’t pick up. He was working on his sh-t. ‘Nephew, it’s Uncle Snoop. I got the message. I apologize, I was f-cked up. My bad.’”
