Snoop Dogg has weighed in on the Super Bowl Halftime Show drama and seemingly addressed Lil Wayne after the Louisiana rapper complained about Kendrick Lamar being chosen for the show.

“What we need to think about is that before JAY-Z got control of the Super Bowl, wasn’t no n-ggas performing. He’s creating a wave of artists that have an opportunity to perform. If you’re a great artist, your time will come,” Snoop said on Drink Champs.

After K.Dot was named as the headliner, Weezy recorded an emotional video, saying he was “heartbroken” by the snub.

“I was never crying about it or mad about it. When Dr. Dre called me and asked me to get his back, I was there for him. But I didn’t feel like I was supposed to be there or in demand to be there,” he said, referring to the 2022 headline show, which featured Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent.
