WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Abdussamad Dasuki, a member of the House of Representatives, hosted Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, on Tuesday, May 27. Dasuki, who represents the Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, said it was a delight to meet the former Anambra state governor. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dasuki said he had a discussion with Obi on various issues concerning the state of the nation. While the lawmaker did not explain in detail the discussions he had with the former governor, he, however, stated that they remain totally committed to ensuring that Nigeria becomes a country that works for every citizen. He wrote on X, “It was a delight to host His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, this evening. I was truly enlivened by our conversations on a range of issues concerning the state of the nation. “What drives a nation like ours is that, despite our partisan differences, we remain united in the pursuit of a common objective—a Nigeria that works for all. “It was, without doubt, an honour to share this enriching and memorable evening, sir,” he added.
