Jennifer Odonwodo, the wife of late actor Junior Pope, has shared a video of him and her late father-in-law.

On her Instagram page, Jennifer said that some days they feel fine, and the next minute, they feel totally off and are still very much in denial.

Sending a message to God, she told him to heal their hearts and keep them safe.

Kemi Filani reported earlier this year, late actor Junior Pope’s father, had died. His widow wife revealed the sad news as she bid farewell to her father-in-law. Jennifer described her late father-in-law as a man who genuinely loved her, and she expressed how thankful she was that she spent time with him.

Refreshing your memory, Junior Pope and others lost their lives after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke on April 8th, 2024.

On April 10th, 2025, Jennifer celebrated his one-year remembrance. She noted that it’s been a year of standing in the face of unimaginable loss, and not a day has gone by without a thought of him. She said her late husband had no idea how tough it had been trying to stay strong for each other as the world around them fell apart.

In May, Jennifer celebrated late Junior Pope’s 45th posthumous birthday. Sharing a clip of the late actor and his family, she expressed sadness at not being able to celebrate him anymore with her different surprises and now, celebrating him with tears and memories.

In July, Jennifer had celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with Pope. She said she was having mixed feelings, and was pained at his physical absence but joyed that he indeed lives on. Jennifer said that sometimes, she gets so overwhelmed that she tells anyone besides her that her late husband would come back.
