Someone has already managed to purchase Samsung‘s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Yes, the new premium wireless earbuds that the company is scheduled to launch on July 10. The buyer shared several photos and their hands-on experience with the buds on Reddit. The retail box for the Galaxy Buds 3 has also leaked.

Early buyer shares hands-on experience with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Samsung has redesigned its wireless earbuds this year. The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro sport a stemmed design, similar to Apple’s AirPods. The Redditor who purchased the Pro model says the stems work exactly like Apple’s offerings but are slightly longer. This might bother people who wear earbuds to their sleep, they opine.

Otherwise, the user doesn’t seem to have found any major issues with Samsung’s first stemmed earbuds. They like the design of the buds and the case, which has a translucent lid. The case features a charging indicator and color-coded silos for the buds. Samsung has placed a tiny orange strip at the bottom of the right earbud and a blue strip on the left earbud. The silos in the case have the same colors. The case lacks a speaker, though.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offers a great sound experience with high bass. You should be able to adjust the sound tone and bass level through the smartphone app. ANC (Active Noise Cancelation) is also reportedly awesome. The buyer says ANC is better than Apple’s first-gen AirPods Pro launched in 2019. They didn’t have any other wireless earbuds to compare the Samsung pair with, so it might not be the most accurate evaluation.

Of course, it’s their personal opinion. The experience may vary for you depending on your preferences. But overall, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro looks like well-built premium wireless earphones from Samsung. The buyer added that the buds automatically paired with their Galaxy Z Flip 4 and iPhone. They didn’t talk about the fancy blade lights that run down the stem. The strip lights up when charging and may produce visual effects when listening to music.

The buyer paid $250 for the buds

According to the Redditor, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro cost them $250. It is unclear if that’s the regular price or if they paid more to get the pair early. The vanilla Galaxy Buds 3, which is more like AirPods thanks to an ear tips-less design, are allegedly priced at TZS 550,000 in Tanzania, which is equivalent to $206 in the US. A Tanzanian retailer shared the price on Instagram, alongside the retail box for the buds. Stay tuned for the official launch on July 10.
