WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Soulja Boy took to NAIJAONPOINT stand this week to deny the allegations of sexual assault and other violent acts alleged in the civil lawsuit filed against him by his former assistant. Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Way, is accused of r*ping and beating his former assistant. She also claims that the rapper locked her inside a room for more than a day without feeding her. In court, several of the rapper’s text messages were read out. He defended his words by saying that “F–k u b—h,” and other phrases were done in the “regular vernacular of the culture of rap” and were not meant as offensive. He also said that a text that read “Die b—h. Shoulda killed your stupid a–,” was taken out of context. “I just meant you’re dead to me. It wasn’t meant as a threat or violence,” he explained. “Is this lingo?” his attorney asked. “Yes,” Way replied before later admitting that he was emotional. Addressing the allegations of r*pe, Soulja said that the plaintiff never tried to push him off her or tell him to stop. “Did you ever hit the plaintiff in the mouth, bust her lip, and force her to give you oral sex?” his attorney asked. “Of course not, and that’s a disgusting allegation,” he replied. “It sounds crazy to me. I did not do that.”
