Nigerian TV personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has taken a swipe at an unnamed politician, over what she described as his desperation for power.

Naijaonpoint reports that in a post on her Instagram story, the show host called on President Bola Tinubu to consider handing over power to the politician temporarily.

She said that Tinubu should take a six-month leave and allow the politician to govern during that time so Nigerians can see the “magic” he claims he can perform.

She wrote: “Dear @officialasiwajubat pls allow him become president for 6 months while you take a leave of absence. Let’s even see what magic he wants to do. This desperation is rather sickening.”

In a related development, Nigerian media personality Destiny Ezeyim, known as Radiogad, has knocked former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi after he was seen sharing food at an event.

Naijaonpoint reports that the video from the event held at Umuchima, Imo State, showed Obi carrying trays and serving dishes to attendees.

He was also seen smiling and interacting warmly with people at the gathering.

However, Radiogad did not take the gesture lightly.

In a viral outburst online on Friday, he described Obi’s actions as eye service and desperation for political power.

According to him, the former Anambra governor behaved like a common waiter, trying too hard to impress Nigerians by appearing humble.

Radiogad said Nigerians prefer strong, firm leaders, not Obi’s soft approach.
