“Still learning to love this new body” – BBNaija Nengi shares her post-baby struggles as she reacts to criticisms over her see-through outfit

Big Brother Naija’s former housemate Nengi has reacted to the massive criticisms she received over her see-through outfit at a recent event.

Kemi Filani reported that Nengi had made her first public appearance months after welcoming her first child. The reality star stepped out in style on Sunday for Vice The Party’s Elite Party, which had several celebrities in attendance. The new mum wore a see-through outfit that showed off her backside.

As expected, the reality star received massive backlash over the outfit, which she addressed on her Instagram story.

Nengi shared her struggles with her body after giving birth via emergency C-section. She revealed that she isn’t cleared for the gym yet and is still healing and learning to love her new body despite lacking confidence.

The proud mother stated that she would, however, take every little moment that helped her feel like herself again.

“2 months post-emergency C-section. Not cleared for the gym yet. Still healing, still learning to love this new body even though sometimes all I have is a tiny thread of confidence. And I’ll take every little moment that helps me feel like me again”.

Sending a message to her critics, she said she would give wrapper and head the next time to make them happy.

“Okay, okay, next time I’ll tie wrapper and head tie. Y’all happy now?
Lol”.

Kemi Filani reported in March that the reality star had shocked social media as she announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl. Sharing a video of her on the hospital bed with her newborn, she described the birth of her child as the purest form of love.

Singer Spyro had shut down rumours that he is the father of her child. Addressing them via his Instagram story, Spyro called Nigerians ignorant, noting how the rich get richer and the póor get pøorer because of their mentality.

In February, Instagram blogger Gistlover alleged that Nengi had welcomed a child with a married Governor.

Reacting to the rumors, Nengi made it known that she wasn’t pregnant for any governor and is only speaking out because of the attacks on her and the people she holds in the highest regard. Sending love and lights to her lovers, she added that she will continue to mind her business and enjoy her pregnancy in peace.
