Former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has launched a fierce attack on Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, accusing him of failing his community despite holding powerful positions in government for many years.
Joho claimed that Kalonzo, who once served as Vice President and held several ministerial posts, has little to show for his long political career.
According to Joho, the Ukambani region still struggles with poverty and lacks basic necessities such as clean water.
He questioned how Kalonzo can compare himself to leaders who, in his view, have delivered development to their people.
Joho went on to mock Kalonzo, saying that even the first major stadium in Ukambani was recently built under President William Ruto’s administration, not during Kalonzo’s time in power.
“Sasa unawezaje kujilinganisha na sisi? Hata hiyo stadium umejengewa na Ruto. Aibu sana,” Joho asserted as he dismissed Kalonzo’s leadership credentials.
