Summer Walker is officially a born-again Christian, after giving up practicing her other religion, which many have labeled “witchcraft.”

Summer Walker was an active practitioner of Santeria, an African religion whose followers pray to different Gods, or Orishas, often using “spells” to gain the God’s approval.
Many people regard practitioners of Santeria as “witches” or practitioners of “witchcraft.” Summer went viral a few years ago, when she posted photos of the alters that she had in her home.
Fans on social media blasted her over the choice.

Summer eventually rose the ranks of the religion, and eventually became an “African River Goddess,” one of the highest levels achievable by a practitioner. At the time, she seemed to be very happy with the accomplishment.
But, as we stated above, many of her fans were upset with Summer’s religion.
Well now Summer has changed her religion. Media take Out confirmed that, over the Christmas break, Summer decided to give up on Santeria – and she’s turned to Christianity. We’re told that Summer was baptized around Christmas, and is officially a follower of Jesus Christ.
She even posted about her new life on social media.
We’re not sure what to say about her transformation. But we can say that the last few years of Summer’s life have been tumultuous. Over the past two years, Summer has gone from being the biggest R&B singer in the world … to a baby mama of three, with three different fathers, and a struggling artist.
