Heading into the second leg of the clash with the aggregate score tied at 0-0 in Accra, Ghana, Nigeria wasted no time assert dominance, as they scored three first-half goals to seal the tie effectively. The Black Galaxies’ defence was punished again in the 25th minute when Rangers International F.C player Isaac Saviour capitalised on a defensive error to extend the lead to 3-0, leaving Ghana with a mountain to climb.
