The Super Eagles are set to face Zimbabwe on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Footynaija.com reports.

After their 2-0 win over Rwanda in Kigali, Eric Chelle’s side are looking to build momentum in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

There were a few injury concerns after the Rwanda match, but fans can now breathe easy. Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle confirmed in his Pre-match Press conference this evening that every player is available for the match against Zimbabwe.

Bright Osayi-Samuel, who picked up a dead leg during the clash with Rwanda, was the biggest concern. There were questions over whether he would recover in time for the Zimbabwe fixture. However, Chelle has now confirmed that the Fenerbahce defender is fit and available.

Victor Osimhen, who missed the first four qualifiers due to injury, returned with a bang against Rwanda, scoring both goals in Nigeria’s 2-0 win. The Galatasaray striker is fully fit and ready to lead the line again on Tuesday.

The rest of the squad is also injury-free. Players like Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, and William Troost-Ekong have all trained without problems in Uyo. The mood in camp is positive, and Chelle will have the entire 23-man squad at his disposal.

The team has been working hard in training, with positive energy in camp. The players know the importance of this match. They are ready to deliver in front of their home supporters at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Kick-off is set for 5 pm Nigerian time, and all eyes will be on Uyo as Nigeria aims to continue their climb in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
