The Nigeria international was a member of the Super Eagles squad that reached the final of the Africa Cup of Nations last year
Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has been accused by his wife of threatening her life, in a disturbing domestic row now playing out publicly on Facebook, Soccernet.ng reports.
Tosin Olorunleke, wife of the former Enyimba captain and Nigeria international, went public on Sunday night with a plea for help, alleging her husband’s behaviour has become violent and unsafe since the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
In a lengthy post on her Facebook page, Tosin accused the Super Eagles shot-stopper of infidelity and of breaking into her bedroom during heated confrontations.

Tosin claimed she and her children are “no longer safe” and directly accused her husband of threatening behaviour linked to an alleged extramarital relationship.
Her post, written in stark terms, read:
“I know she has bewitched my husband, and desperately pushing him to harm me and my children. My husband moved in with her, she pushed him to divorce me, do DNA of our children, I don’t have problem with all that but they should just leave me and my children in peace.”
Tosin alleged that since Olorunleke’s rise in profile at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where he was Nigeria’s only home-based player and part of the squad that finished runners-up, her household has been in turmoil.
She claimed his relationship with a woman she named as Precious Daniel has caused severe strain.
She accused her husband of breaking into her locked bedroom, rushing straight to her bed whenever he visits, and leaving her fearing for her safety.
“Anytime my husband come home now, I must take my children to hospital the following day… Today, I was outside and I locked my bedroom, he came home and break my bedroom door, what does he want and left to lodge with his side chick again.”
Her message ended in a direct appeal for help:
“Please I don’t know his mission, the world should help me things is getting out of hand. Leke please leave me in peace, I have done nothing to deserve all the pains you have put me and my children through since last year. If anything happen to me and my children, am shouting now, my family and love one should hold Leke Olorunleke and Precious Daniels. Me and my children are no longer safe from the both of you.”
The goalkeeper has not yet responded publicly to the allegations.
Olorunleke, 30, has carved a notable domestic career. He broke through with Giwa FC in 2013 before spells at Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, and Abia Warriors.
Olorunleke joined Enyimba in 2021, helping the Aba club win the 2022–23 Nigeria Professional Football League, and was named captain in August 2023.
He was part of Nigeria’s U20 squad that won the 2015 African U-20 Championship and earned his first senior Super Eagles call-up in 2022. His AFCON 2023 selection, as the sole NPFL player, was widely celebrated as recognition for home-based talent.
Off the pitch, Olorunleke married Tosin in 2016. She previously worked as team manager and secretary of Confluence Queens, a women’s football club in Lokoja.
