The Super Eagles star just moved up to the Turkish Super Lig, but he has started on the wrong foot

Samsunspor doubled their lead in the second half, courtesy of Carolo Holse, but Metehan Miraloglu pulled one back for Genclerbirligi just before fulltime, as the game ended 2-1.

Oghenekaro Etebo: What is the situation with the Super Eagles star’s injury?

As of the time of this report, Genclerbirligi have not confirmed the nature of Oghenekaro Etebo’s injury. But it would likely be a muscle injury.

This means that he might be sidelined for a few weeks so that the injury will heal. The Super Eagles star has a bad injury record, so Genclerbirligi will be wary of how he handles himself.

Etebo’s absence in midfield will be a big blow for Genclerbirligi, as he is the club’s captain and one of their best players. They will hope that he does not have to spend a long time away from action.
