WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Super Falcons’ and Al-Ittihad Ladies defender, Ashleigh Megan Plumptre, has penned a two-year contract extension with her club side in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Soccernet.ng reports. The 26-year-old versatile defender joined the Saudi-based club after her contract with WSL side, Leicester City women, expired in the summer of 2023. Plumptre played all four games for the Nigerian national team at the Australia/ New Zealand FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023, before making a move to the Middle East. Sixteen months later, she’s extended her stay in Saudi Arabia.
