During the panel, Snyder revealed a surprising twist: DC K.O. would include a ‘bonus level,’ sending heroes into pocket dimensions to gain more Omega Energy and face off against popular IPs. On November 8, 2025, Scott Snyder sat down with CBR for a discussion later posted on YouTube as Batman Rebuilt: Scott Snyder on Fear, Friends & Gotham | Heroes Journey EP 5. During this episode, Snyder confirmed that Homelander will be fighting Superman, ending months of speculation and giving fans the matchup they’ve long anticipated.

Homelander is essentially the Temu version of Superman.

To clarify, the October announcement of the ‘bonus level’ at NYCC 2025 revealed which characters would appear in the crossover, including Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, Annabelle from The Conjuring, Red Sonja, Vampirella, Samantha from Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, and Homelander. In contrast, Snyder’s CBR reveal confirms that Superman will face Homelander, something that was only speculation until now.

Homelander is widely regarded as one of, if not the strongest, supes in The Boys, with feats like routinely brutalizing other supes and lifting nearly a million pounds in The Boys #65. However, narratively, it wouldn’t make sense for him to defeat Superman, as that would undermine the structure and stakes of the larger crisis event.

Additionally, Homelander is essentially the Temu version of Superman. Expecting him to seriously beat Clark, who will be fighting to the death, would be a misjudgment.
