Obi stated this while he made a financial donation to Paul University in Awka, on Saturday, to support the institution’s continued growth and development. The former governor of Anambra State who commended the management of the school for its progress, promised to support its Nursing programme. “Supporting education remains a priority for me, and I am steadfast in my commitment to initiatives that empower our youth and strengthen the foundation of our society. “By investing in education, we unlock the immense potential of our people to become productive members of society and, thus, pave the way for sustainable and inclusive progress,” he said. The Labour Party Chieftain also commended the institution for equipping their students with productive skills and opportunities. “Their steadfast dedication to advancing education and equipping students with productive skills and opportunities is truly commendable,” he stated. He further reiterated the call for the government to support the education of every child. He emphasized the need to address the increasing challenges of out-of-school children.
